                            Slitting line

 

 

The slitting production line consists of three main parts: a decoiler, a slitter, and a rewinder. As the material is fed through the nip between the two circular cutting wheels (one at the top and the other below), it is re-wound in the slit covering on the recoiler. Equipment suppliers and end users must work together to determine the appropriate components, shank size, tool kit, horsepower, and tension for the material being cut.
